The Policy of Screening for Plagiarism

Farsi-language manuscripts submitted to the journal are checked for originality and plagiarism using Samim Noor software (www.samimnoor.ir), and English-language manuscripts are checked using the iThenticate plagiarism detection software (www.ithenticate.com). This is to ensure their authenticity and absence of plagiarism.

If plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabrication or falsification of data, unattributed use of the work of others, or any other form of research misconduct is identified, the manuscript will be rejected without being sent for peer review.

Where the similarity detected is attributable solely to appropriately cited material, standard methodological descriptions, or other acceptable content that can be revised, the manuscript will be returned to the corresponding author for correction. The manuscript will proceed to peer review only after the required revisions have been completed and approved.

Retraction Policy

If, after publication, it is determined that the findings of an article are unreliable due to major errors, research misconduct, fabrication or falsification of data, plagiarism, duplicate publication, or violations of research ethics or publication ethics, the journal will retract the article in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.

In such cases, the original article will not be removed from the journal archive. Instead, it will be clearly marked as "Retracted", and a formal retraction notice explaining the reasons for the retraction will be permanently linked to the article in order to preserve the integrity and transparency of the scholarly record.

The retraction notice will clearly state the reasons for the Editorial Board's decision, and, where appropriate, the authors' response or position regarding the retraction may also be included.

Complaint Process

The authors have the right to complain and ask explanation if they perceive any misconduct in any applicable policies and ethical guidelines. The authors can raise their complaints by submitting a letter to: [email protected]. We follow the COPE guidelines on responding to whistleblowers, which include protecting anonymity.
