Peer Review Process

Peer Review Policy

The Kateb Journal of Medical Sciences and Biotechnology employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure impartial and fair evaluation of all submitted manuscripts. Upon submission, each manuscript is assigned a unique identification code, and all author-identifying information is removed to preserve anonymity throughout the review process.

Manuscripts are then evaluated by two independent experts in the relevant field. Reviewers assess the submission based on criteria such as scientific validity, originality, innovation, methodology, clarity, and overall quality. They provide detailed, constructive feedback and recommendations to the editorial team.

The Editor-in-Chief considers the reviewers' evaluations, along with their own assessment, to make a final editorial decision. Authors are informed of the outcome and receive anonymous reviewer comments. When revisions are requested, authors are encouraged to address the feedback thoroughly to enhance the quality of their work.

This peer review system is designed to maintain the academic integrity, transparency, and scientific standards of the journal, contributing to the publication of high-quality, reliable research.
